Williams was later found dead near the location from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Jordan Salinas, a 35-year-old healthcare worker from Kimberly, Idaho, has been identified through viral social media videos as the civilian who confronted the shooter. While police have not officially named Salinas, he came forward to recount his actions to the Idaho Statesman newspaper. According to reports, Salinas was present at the restaurant as a customer when the incident occurred.
One of the victims was confirmed to be an employee of the restaurant. In-N-Out owner and president Lynsi Snyder released a statement expressing grief over the loss. Of the seven injured individuals, two were treated and discharged from hospital, three remained in stable condition, and two were in critical condition.
