Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong condemnation, describing the incident as a direct threat to global energy supplies and an irresponsible act undermining regional security. The ministry stated Qatar "completely rejects the targeting of vital facilities" and called for de-escalation measures to restore stability. Egyptian firefighting and security teams contained the fire without reported casualties, and Damietta port resumed normal operations.
