After establishing a 29-run first-innings lead, the West Indies posted 181 in their second innings to set Pakistan a challenging target. Pakistan's batting unit struggled significantly, slumping to 71-9 before Pakistan captain Babar Azam mounted a brief resistance with an unbeaten 58, supported by number 11 Mohammad Abbas who contributed 23 runs. The West Indies' pace bowling attack proved overwhelming, routing the visitors in just over 40 overs with one day of play remaining.
