Israeli forces storm multiple West Bank towns, settler violence worsens

Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem have expanded significantly, with forces conducting raids across multiple towns and villages. According to Al Jazeera reporting, incursions have targeted areas including Beita south of Nablus, Nilin west of Ramallah, and Arrabeh in Jenin, where military bulldozers accompanied the operations. Demolition activities and mass arrests of Palestinians have accompanied these raids across settlements including Deir al-Ghusun, Balata camp, and numerous other villages throughout the region.

Parallel to military operations, settler attacks on Palestinian communities have escalated. Incidents reported include assaults on residents in the Abu Fuzaa encampment near Taybeh and livestock being released into olive groves in Al-Burj village to damage agricultural property. In one documented case, Israeli soldiers prevented an ambulance from transporting a pregnant woman to hospital, resulting in a miscarriage.

Palestinian leadership has mobilized diplomatic responses to the escalating situation. President Mahmoud Abbas has communicated with international bodies including the United Nations Security Council, European Union, and Arab League, requesting intervention to halt what he characterizes as Israeli aggression and settler violence. International observers, including the UN's Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian Territories, have described the settler attacks as systematic violence against civilians.

Regional governments have issued formal statements opposing the escalation. A coalition of Arab states—including Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain—released coordinated condemnations of the attacks, citing incidents such as a mosque fire in Tulkarem.
